The MSGA kicked off its championship season Sunday at Belgrade Lakes with the Club Team Championship. The Augusta team of Ryan Gay, Jim Quinn, Tom Bean and Mark Plummer set the day’s standard in the first group as they finished six under par in the best two of four ball format. But the Biddeford-Saco team of Dave Cook, Scott Dewitt, Steve Boutot and Keith Patterson – riding the only eagle of the day on Patterson’s two on the par four 14^th, also finished at six under,  meaning the MSGA will be buying two sets of trophies for this year’s winners. Congratulations to Augusta and Biddeford-Saco for their joint victory!
